Hey Guys,
For those who didn't know this, well i was on tv ( again :) ).
Thanks to reporter Ms Priyanka Desai of IBN Lokmat, Me and my company "Natura " were covered by her for a tv show called "Youth Tube". A very nice and decent edit, and yes i still feel very awkward facing the camera (video or still doesn't matter).

Last few months

I just realized, i posted only three times in last year, i guess this is the pits till now, but I'm an ardent follower of homer, and as he says I'm sure i can go to the depths and go on & on & on... :)

Anyways, a lot has happened since the last time i wrote anything, the more recent thing is i was able to vote for the first time in this election, and I'm still feeling a lot more confident and responsible. :)

I completed my month long (28 days to be precise) Basic Mountaineering Course in Nehru Institute of Mountaineering , Uttarkashi. (apparently the premiere mountaineering institute in Asia).
The course was great, very physically demanding besides being mentally tough, and was a much needed break for me.
The course was mainly divided in 3 parts, Rock craft, Snow Craft & Ice Craft.
we trekked for total 3 days to reach base camp, at 12300 ft. though we found lot (and i mean a lot) of snow a camp before base camp at 11000 feet.
we spent 14 days at base camp doing ice craft and snow craft and map reading and last day as height gain (reached 15000ft).
Anyways that's that, course has ended, & I am back to the grind. The first thing that i felt after coming back was the HEAT !!! it was SWEATY and YUCKY !! and Mumbai definitely stinks.
After living for 15 days in zero and sub zero temperatures, it was difficult for couple of days to get adjusted, but once the inner Mumbaikar came out, then no issues at all.

Its been 2 months since i came back from my course, and damn it was a roller coaster ride, for some reason, work just keeps on pouring...

Ohh yeah and did i tell you that we rigged up cool stunts for a dance reality show "Dance India Dance" on Zee tv.

It was the most craziest week of my life till now, it was some 7 hrs of sleep in 62 hrs so effectively, we slept for 7 hrs in 3 days, 2nd day was all nighter, we actually worked for 24hrs straight, first day slept for 3.5 hrs and last day slept for 3.5 hrs. after that last 2 days we managed to get sleep of about 4 hrs each day, but in the end it was a great show, flawless execution of all the stunts from our side. Everything was well done.

( 4th day also happened to be my birthday, where i switched of my cell phone for whole day so that i wont get disturbed while i was working, and boy did i get fired left and right from everyone, i finally went around calling everyone who had tried to get in touch with me unsuccessfully, and asking them to wish me :P ).
but all's well that ends well.

A Good Day

My dear diary,

This post was long overdue, its been so long that ive written something. So i decided to write something which is still fresh in my mind.

Has it ever happened with you that you meet a person and you feel instant connection, something between you and the other person just clicks, and you end up having a great conversation.

well something similar happened and i absolutely enjoyed it. The whole day went well and iam happy, i mean really happy and smiling, it just feels great to have a good conversation with someone.

well i have to agree, life is full of surprises or the way you say in hindi "zindagi itefaq se bhari hia".

Go, make upcoming day a good day. meet someone new, you just might end up earning a great new friend.

Sweet Nothings

It’s past midnight,

I want to sleep, but I cannot,because she teases me, she entices me just enough and goes away...

I cannot sleep, I say to her, darling let me have some sleep; I have to get up early tomorrow.

She doesn’t say anything,

I think about her and know how I love her; I could be with her for whole day and still won’t be tired.

It all happened without even saying, there was this unspeakable understanding between us and I didn’t even had to say anything... we just hooked on together.

She enticed me again and broke my train of thoughts... I cursed, I wanted to know what are sweet dreams made of... but she wouldn’t let me... she wouldn’t come near, time runs by as lucidly as possible... I wondered will I be able to dream today?

I want to know what are sweet dreams made of … and then silently she crept near,

She whispers, “I am your love, My name is sleep” and she slowly whispers sweet nothings and puts me into peaceful trance…

And that’s how I slept at 3 Am in the morning… :-)
